The HHT-1805 is an accurate, fast responding food safety thermometer probe designed for commercial kitchens. It is IP68 rated so will not be harmed by being immersed in water. It can be safely cleaned and sanitised using hot water. It is fast responding with a 4 second response time from 25 to 100 deg C.
The thermometer has a Min and Max function which proves especially useful for checking that food is hot enough. The MAX function can be invoked to display the highest temperature that has been measured. Using the Cooking, Cooling and Serving Chart, one can quickly determine whether the food being tested has met the required temperature parameters.
