Hockey puck style head mounted loop powered temperature transmitter. Software configurable for both input type and input range.. Covers both RTD and all thermocouples. Non isolated. Therefore only used for RTD applications.
The HMT-ST500 is a temperature transmitter in head-mount configuration (hockey puck style). It has a USB port and you can order the interface cable which connects a Windows based PC to the transmitter. The software to configure the transmitter is free to download. The HMT-540S can be configured for both thermocouple or RTD. It is output loop powered and will operated on 12 -40 Vdc. At 24Vdc loop voltage, the transmitter will drive 600 ohms load in series with the output loop. See the UHM-560S if you require HART communications as well as the 4-20 mA output.
