The Verified Aquaculture Water Test Kit – pH & Salinity is a complete, application-specific kit designed for aquaculture and shellfish farming, where pH and salinity are critical to animal health and harvest decisions. It has also been verified by Meascom to confirm its performance in EC/TDS/Salinity using Meascom’s own verified buffers and conductivity solutions

Seawater is naturally slightly alkaline, so this kit is supplied with pH 6.86 and pH 9.18 buffers to calibrate accuracy in the range oysters and other shellfish actually experience. A 35 ppt salinity calibration solution is included to support reliable salinity measurement in marine and estuarine environments.
