How to Set Up A Checklist
Open the Hygeian Site (https://hygeian.online) and log in.
Go to Checklists and click the “New Checklist” button.
Select the food to be tested. (1)
Select the location (normally Spot Checking or similar name) (2)
Save the checklist (3)
How to Test and Record a Food Temperature
- Select the correct blank checklist and use the Edit symbol (1) to display the details of the food to be tested.
- Turn on the slide switch in the middle of the page. (2)
- Wipe the probe clean, then probe the food and press the “Test” button on the probe after 3 seconds.
- Wait until the probe lights stop flashing. Remove the probe.
- Check the recorded temperature on the screen. (3) You can retest the food from step 3 if you wish to take corrective action.
- Turn off the slide switch (2) if the result is accepted.
- Click the Save Button (4)
- The form will close and the checklist summary list will show the test has been completed
